Secord in Bloom Seed Exchange 

Join us for Secord in Bloom, a free community event where the Secord Community League will be giving away one seed pack per household, while supplies last. Residents are also invited to bring seeds, healthy plants, cuttings, or clippings to exchange with others in the community.

Time: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Priority Access: Community members with a valid Secord Community League membership will have priority access from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Memberships can be purchased or renewed at www.secordcl.com.
Seed Packs: One free seed pack per household, while supplies last

What to expect:

Free seed pack giveaway, one per household
Community seed exchange table
Bring seeds, healthy plants, cuttings, or clippings to exchange
Kids pot painting station
Kids sunflower potting station
Planting tips available

Kids Station

Kids can paint their pots first, then move to the next table to plant their sunflower. Parent or guardian supervision is required at all times.

Want to participate in the exchange?

Residents are welcome to bring extra seeds, healthy plants, cuttings, or clippings to share with neighbours. Please make sure everything is clearly labelled, including the plant name and any helpful care notes.

A few friendly rules:

No invasive plants or seeds
Please only bring healthy plants, cuttings, or clippings that are free from pests or disease
Label your seeds, plants, cuttings, or clippings clearly
Take only what you need so others can enjoy the exchange too
Children must be supervised at the painting and potting stations
